We took a home pregnancy test a few days back, but as the second line was a very faint, we made an appointment with the doctor. My test at the doctor's office provided the same faint results and thus a blood test was ordered. Because of the faint results, she also wanted my progesterone levels tested.
Update: Blood test confirms we are five weeks pregnant with baby #2!! Also, my progesterone levels were lower than the doctor liked so I am taking progesterone pills to increase the viability of the pregnancy. We are holding off on sharing the news with Siobhan of baby
'Tic Tac'.
As of last week, Tic Tac is an embryo and the size of an apple seed. From now until week 10, baby's major organs (heart, stomach, liver, kidney) and systems (digestive, circulatory, nervous) are beginning to develop.
